The Helene

£625

When property magnate Robert Alexander instructed architect William Krisel to build his "House of Tomorrow" in the early 1960s, he did so for his beloved wife, Helene. Together, Robert and Helene, known as the King and Queen of Palm Springs helped transform the sleepy desert enclave into a style icon and their house is known today as the crown jewel of midcentury modern architecture. Their glamorous aesthetic and style lives on in The Helene. Inspired by the peach skin and white paint tones and the flowing circles of the three floor levels of the House of Tomorrow, also known as Elvis' Honeymoon Hideaway, the Helene is made of beautiful soft linen with flowing peach skin circular trim embroidery all around the scalloped dress. With a very flattering v-neck, elastic waist, cold-shoulder and detachable embroidered belt, the Helene is fabulous for day through to night. Three little pink, orange and peachskin pom-poms hang playfully around the bottom of the dress in honour of the circular fireplaces and cocktail bars around which many parties were held!

A beautiful luxe go-to piece for your summer wardrobe. Elegant and cool, the Helene is perfect for balmy evenings or for events the city!
